Ever since Anil Kumble became the coach of Team India, he has been trying his best to enhance the performance of the players and bring the best out of them. Aware of the challenges in international cricket, Kumble is arguably moving mountains to keep the Indian players on top of their game.
So when the legendary former leg-spinner, India coach Anil Kumble saw Indian batsmen struggling against the spin variations of Australian revelation Steve O’Keefe, he took matters in his own hands.
Yes, the 46-year-old Kumble, who is India’s highest wicket-taker (3rd in the world) in Tests has himself decided to prepare Virat Kohli and his boys to play O’Keefe well in the upcoming Test match in Ranchi.
In a video released by the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), Kumble was seen bowling from his left-arm against the likes of Cheteshwar Pujara who has been troubled by O’Keefe in the last two Test matches.

We can see how Kumble went to the extent of bowling left-arm spinners to Pujara in practice and also managed to beat him on a few occasions.
It was a pleasant surprise for the Indian cricket fans, who until now had seen Kumble bowling with the right hand, were astonished to see his quality.
Recently, India put in one of their best bowling performances under pressure in recent times to defend a total of 188 in the second India v Australia Test at the Chinnaswamy Stadium, Bangalore on Day 4, beating Australia by 75 runs.
Indian skipper Virat Kohli called the second Test win over Australia as the best of his captaincy career, comparing his team to a snake which can sting from any direction.
Now as the team now enjoys a well-deserved break, coach Anil Kumble was seen having some fun in the nets as he bowled left-handed.
