In the match between Trinbago Knight Riders and St Lucia Stars, Khary Pierre did everything right, hit the stumps, red lights lit up but batsman, Andre Fletcher, still survived.
The ball went to reach the boundary despite hitting stumps as the bails didn’t fall off. In the 7th over of the Stars’ innings, left-arm spinner Khary Pierre was bowling to Andre Fletcher. Pierre bowled in the right area and hit the base of leg-stump as Fletcher missed the length of the ball completely.
However, the bails did not fall and, in turn, went past the wicketkeeper, Dinesh Ramdin, towards the fence. Umpire signaled four byes leaving Bravo, Ramdin, and Pierre in total disbelief.
