Cricbuzz reported that a window of the Bangladesh dressing room was found damaged after Bangladesh finished the chase successfully against Sri Lanka in the previous match. With the blistering batting of Mahmudullah (48 not out), the visitors won the game by 2 wickets.

The final match is going to happen between India and Bangladesh on Sri Lanka soil. The hosts Sri Lanka are out of the tournament after facing back to back debacles against Bangladesh in an important clash.
