[WATCH VIDEO] Bangladeshi Tigers Set Out To Spree Historic Celebrations After The Victory Against Australia
Breaking the assumed limitations, Bangladesh has finally done it, in-spite of being called as the not-much-fancied team, somehow, the test team led-by Shakib Ul Hassan has re-written the history by clinching the very first victory in their Cricket history against the mighty Australian team.
With an admirable 20 runs gap, Bangladeshi players made this feat of beating Aussies for the very first time in History. Starting with the easy-win of New Zealand over England this victory of Bangladesh is just another one in last two days.
From past few years, Australia hasn’t played at all against Bangladesh in the longest format, the series was expected to be closely fought as the hosts are no more minnows and especially on their home turf. But very few expected them to win against the mighty Aussies who were confident of doing well after a decent India series.
Coming to the match, the Bangladesh players have begun the match slapping the rivals with a staggering score next to which they bowled Australia out cheaply to secure a lead of 43 runs which proved to be decisive in the end. Chasing the target of 265, Australia rode on Warner’s scintillating century which brought the victory insight of 107 runs for the visitors.
To everyone’s surprise, it is Tigers who came back extremely well to haunt the Kangaroos and picked wickets at the regular intervals and won the close match by 20 runs. Post the victory, the whole country started to celebrate and the former cricketers praised Bangladesh for their excellent performance.

It was Shakib Al Hasan’s show all the way, he took 10 wickets in the match as Australia collapsed from 158-2 to 244 all out in Mirpur on day four, losing by 20 runs. There were jubilant scenes when Josh Hazlewood was the last man to go, trapped leg before by Taijul Islam.
Now, Bangladesh will head into the second Test with a 1-0 lead after taking advantage of Australia’s shortcomings on the subcontinent.
Regarding the ace victory the team had, its pace bowler Mustafizur Rahman tweeted a video of raucous celebrations in the Bangladesh dressing room, the heroic players enjoying a sing-song while battering willow repeatedly a leather-rubber like looking bench altogether.
