[WATCH VIDEO] Ben Cutting Smashes James Faulkner For A Massive 4312 Meter Six, Commentator Pete Lazer Shocked
Do you know the distance of longest six ever traveled in Cricket?
Many of us say it would be around 100-120 meters. But you will be shocked if you get to know the distance of longest six measured and it is not Chris Gayle or AB de Villiers who hit it.
The distance of longest six ever traveled is 4312 meters. Yes, you read it correctly. I think you have now opened your mouth. But it’s true. Australian cricketer Brn Cutting hit the longest six in a match of the JLT Cup between Queensland and Tasmania.
Queensland was set for a thrilling finish as they had gone past the 300 mark with two overs still to go.
It was James Faulkner bowling the 49thover of the match and one of his delivery was smashed hard by Ben Cuttings. The ball skied to the rooftop. What caught the attention was Commentator Pete Lazer. Watching the ball, he couldn’t keep calm and said on air, “It has gone miles! That has gone 4,312-meters.”
Soon, the internet was rocked by the big hit and surprisingly everyone was talking about the match especially about the length of the six which Lazer mentioned.

The JLT Cup will now be boosted by some big names. It is believed that around six Aussie internationals are likely to take part in the contest.
“To welcome back guys of such high caliber as Finch, Maxwell, and Christian at this stage of the tournament is a big win for us, and they’ll certainly add some depth to both our batting and bowling line-up,” said Bushrangers coach Andrew McDonald.
“The squad has been brilliant so far this tournament to get us to this point, and now hopefully with the return of our Australian representatives we can go a step further and qualify for the final,” he added. With some match-winners coming in, the sides will be in dilemma on what combination to play with. “It’s nice to have a few headaches,” WA coach Justin Langer said.
