Yes, the Australian’s comments drew a hard-hitting backlash from all the Indian fans including that of Bollywood legend Amitabh Bachchan and Kolkata Knight Riders skipper Gautam Gambhir, who brutally slammed Hodge on social media.
After copping a fierce backlash, Hodge took to social media and has apologized to Virat Kohli and Indian fans for his nasty comments on the Indian skipper’s shoulder injury.

What will be interesting to see now is whether Kohli has anything to comment on this issue. During the course of the series against Australia, he was quite vocal on several topics and how he responds to this when asked at a press conference anywhere will be something that everyone will be eagerly looking forward to.
