[WATCH] Kuldeep Yadav Says ‘I Can Take Warner Wicket Anytime’, David Warner Gives A Strong Reply
What all Team India is doing now is every Indian cricket maniac’s dream since a decade. Virat Kohli led Bleed Blue team has crushed the mighty Australian batsmen with ease. Following the humble 21-run margin in the first match, Indian team now made it again in the 2nd match at Eden Gardens.
Earlier, India, after winning the toss and electing to bat first, could manage 252. But the Indian bowlers had done a splendid job in cracking the Australian batting lineup with ease. The hosts won the match by 50 runs with a brilliant performance of bowlers.
It was Bhuvaneshwar Kumar and Kuldeep Yadav, who were unbelievable with their bowling and played crucial roles in restricting the Aussies to 202. Kuldeep took his first hat-trick in ODIs which was the turning point in the game. However, after the match had said that Australia’s swashbuckling batsman David Warner takes pressure while batting against him.
The young Chinaman also feels that he can get Warner out anytime. “I guess he (Warner) takes pressure while batting against me, and feels I can get him out anytime. It’s good that there’s no pressure on me and I enjoy bowling to him. I always feel to get him out and set my plans accordingly. I will try to get him out more,” Kuldeep had quoted.
When asked Kuldeep about the toughest batsman to bowl, he said, “I have found him to be the toughest to bowl to in this Australia line-up. He reads deliveries well and knows how to work the singles. And he can also play shots. If either of them bats 30-40 overs, the pressure will be on us.”

When David Warner was asked to share his views on Kuldeep’s statement, the flamboyant Australian opener said that he likes Chinaman’s confidence and credited him the way he bowled in Kolkata. However, he also added that the pressure to perform his on Kuldeep Yadav as he is still very young in international and played just 2 Tests and 9 ODIs.
“I like Kuldeep’s confidence. Credit to him for the way he bowled (in Kolkata). But the pressure is on him to perform, not me. You have played two Test matches and nine ODIs – when you are young, you have that confidence. I remember I had that kind of confidence when I was young and probably said things I would not now,” responded David Warner.
David Warner also said that Kuldeep is bringing the pressure on himself by making such big statements. “He has been doing well and he has confidence that is what he brings to the table. But when he speaks like that, he is bringing the pressure on himself,” David Warner added.

We have to wait and see how would Kuldeep react to Warner’s reply. Being in the limelight in a fledgling international career isn’t new to Yadav but he is aware of the responsibility on him and Yuzvendra Chahal in the absence of R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja.
