Watch: England Cricketer Liam Thomas Still Continues Fielding Even After Losing His Prosthetic Leg, Hats-off!!!
During a T20 match at the ICC Academy Dubai invitational T20 tournament between physically disabled teams of England and Pakistan, England player Liam Thomas showed everyone his love and passion for the game of cricket.
He also showed everyone that having an artificial leg is not a barrier between him and the game. Liam Thomas put it all on the line while stopping a ball from crossing the boundary even after losing his artificial leg in an attempt to stop the ball.
When the ball was traveling to the boundary ropes after a Pakistani player hit it towards deep backward square, Thomas showed great dedication and made a diving effort to stop the ball. During the attempt, Thomas lost his artificial leg but he didn’t give up. He steadily moved towards the ball with one leg and threw the ball back to the 22-yards.

“It just happened, really. I was sprinting for the ball, put my hand out, hit the deck hard and the next thing I know I stood up and had no leg. I didn’t know whether to grab the leg or get the ball in. I decided to go for the ball,” said Thomas.
Unfortunately, Thomas’ great effort went in vain as England lost the final match by 3 wickets.
