Virat Kohli led India clinched the victory and made the series win with 4-1 in ODI’s. Rohit Sharma’s 125 with Ajinkya Rahane’s 61 built a path for Indian victory. Australians who didn’t impress with their batting scored just 242/9 in 50 overs. Indian openers cake-walked the target and Kedar, Manish Pandey finished it off for India. Hardik Pandya was named as the Man of the series and with this win, India have also retained their No. 1 ODI ranking, after a momentary slip.

Many sport analysts claim MS Dhoni as Smartest cricketer in this era. There were many incidents where he had managed to convince captain Virat Kohli to take right decisions, like calling for a review or setting a field for a particular batsman.

But on Sunday, during the series final match, the legendary wicket-keeper for Indian Team made a fool out of Kohli by convincing to go for a review in the 37th over of the Australia innings.

It happened off 36.5 over, with unorthodox spinner, Kuldeep Yadav bowling to Aussies Left-hander Travis Head. The Aussie batsman reached out to play the flighted delivery outside off, with Dhoni taking a low catch. Dhoni then turned toward Kohli, who was fielding at first slip, and the skipper soon went for the reviews.

As it turned out, the replays showed a big gap between bat and ball. Indeed a rare incident considering Dhoni’s brilliance.
