Virat Kohli Tweets About His Clothing Line, Fans Plead Him To Rejoin The Team Soon
The visiting team Sri Lanka beat India in the first ODI at Dharamsala to take a 1-0 lead in the three-match ODI series. The Lions put into bat, top order of India was demolished with early blows by Suranga Lakmal who took four for 13 along with Angelo Mathews and Nuwan Pradeep.
India was reduced to 29 for seven in 17 overs before MS Dhoni rescued the team out with a patient 87-ball 65. He put together useful stands of 41 with Kuldeep Yadav 19 off 25, 17 with Jasprit Bumrah 0 off 15 and 25 with Yuzvendra Chahal 0* off 9.
In reply, Sri Lanka lost two early wickets but Upul Tharanga counter-attacked with a 46-ball 49 and they were eventually taken home by Angelo Mathews 25* and Niroshan Dickwella 26*. Unfortunately, it was the first match for Rohit Sharma as the captain which went in vain.
Rohit Sharma was given captaincy in the absence of Virat Kohli for the limited-overs series. However, people started tweeting about Virat’s absence and asking him to come and join the team. Soon after team India lost the match, Virat Kohli took to Twitter to share something and it is not about the match, but about his endorsement.
The 29-year-old scored back-to-back double tons in the Test series against Sri Lanka and was awarded the man of the series trophy. He was very much missed in today’s encounter.
Kohli has played non-stop cricket for over a year now and the board has given him much needed rest. He had earlier said that he needs break too and that he is not a robot. Virat tweeted about his fashion brand One8 and the tweet read, “Loving the response to #One8. The #One8Crew seems to be growing by the minute!”

Team India without you is incomplete. Today’s match shows Indian batsman performance on pitch which has something for bowlers. SA tour is coming so rest well, prepare and practise hard.
Otherwise the result is not very hard to predict!
Have a great time, Champ! ❤️
