If it is the official Twitter account of a public figure, then those mistakes lead to a high extent. Imagine if they make typo regarding a sport that is treated like a religion in the country. We really feel bad, until it is not personal, isn’t it?

As they preach, ‘To err is human’, everyone is equal to it. Even the greatest minds are not resistant to mistakes. The following of some of the modern cricket pundits these days is sometimes at par with some of the cricketers. One of the major examples is that renowned cricket commentator and analyst, Harsh Bhogle.

The man who is the living embodiment literary proficiency made a simple yet explicit mistake while phrasing a tweet about the Virat Kohli inning during the 1st ODI at Wankhede Stadium, Mumbai. The match began with quick wickets of Indian openers Shikhar Dhawan and Rohit Sharma and all-rounder Kedar Jadhav.

Virat Kohli looked determined to build yet another magical inning, the Indian skipper presented a golden opportunity to the Kiwis while batting at 29. The Black Caps, renowned for latching on to acrobatic catches, dropping dollies is something unheard of.

However, Kohli had the rub of the green during his innings of 121 as Mitchell Santner dropped a dolly while fielding at covers. There is a saying, ‘Fortune favors the brave’, Kohli notched his 46th half century.

Harsha Bhogle, who was commentating during the match couldn’t stop appreciating Virat’s batting and took to Twitter to wish him. To which Harsha Bhogle tweeted, “He might have had a life but it his has been a fine inning from Kohli. And the sh*t to get to 50 was sumptuous.”

Bhogle intended to type shot while praising the stroke of Kohli which helped him reach his half-century, but ended up typing sh*t. After getting to know about the mistake, Bhogle tweeted again, “Haha! Caught out big time! Meant “shot to get to 50” of course. Have a laugh on me.”

At the end, the run machine Virat Kohli scored yet another record-breaking ton in ODIs, thus taking his tally to a whopping 31 tons surpassing Ricky Ponting. Virat Kohli is now only the second batsman to score a ton in his 200th ODI. AB de Villiers is the other batsman to have achieved the feat.
