Mohammed Shami’s wife Hasin Jahan claims Facebook blocked her account, deleted posts

The public fall-out of Indian cricket team pacer Mohammed Shami and his wife Hasini Jahan has another twist added to their controversy credit. This time, Hasin Jahan has alleged social media giant Facebook. She said that the social media site has removed her profile and posts she made on her profile.

Hasin Jahan made posts on her Facebook profile making allegations on her husband Mohammed Shami for having extra marital affairs and also for torturing her mentally and physically. As a result, charges of attempt to murder and a multitude of other offences were being leveled against Shami in Kolkata. Hasin Jahan now has directed her wrath towards Facebook for blocking her account and deleting all the posts she made on Mohammed Shami.

“I have not received any help from anyone. So I took to Facebook to speak of my ordeal. Why did Facebook block my account & deleted all the posts without my permission?,” she was quoted as saying by ANI.

Jahan had earlier posted the conversations on screenshots in which Shami was chatting with several women. She then accused him of having extramarital affairs. She even went on uploading the photographs and the phone numbers of some of those women.

She also accused the family of the Indian cricket team pacer and his family of domestic violence and also claimed that they even tried to kill her, and she went further on calling him a traitor, hinting that the bowler received money from bookies to fix the matches.

By taking the allegations of Jahan, Mohammad Shami was charged with as many as seven  offenses under the sections 498 A, 323, 307, 376, 506, 328, 34 of the Indian Penal Code (IPC), including an attempt to murder under these sections. A rape charge was also leveled against Shami’s elder brother.

On the other hand, Mohammed Shami had rubbished all the allegations made by his wife and said that he has always loved his wife and have never cheated her. Replying to the match fixing allegations, he said he would prefer to die than to cheat his country.
