Jadev Unadkat Credits The 11-Year-Old Pune Kid For The Hat-Trick That Helped RPS In Clinching The Match From SRH

This IPL season has already been a bouquet full of surprises. Surprisingly, all time favorites like Royal Challengers Bangalore (RCB) were out of form and the occasional teams like KKR and RPS are showing some innumerable game ways. It must be believed that this season is full on bowlers’ side, it is their time, we have already noticed some extensively impeccable bowling performances from a number of bowlers.

Surprisingly, this season has already got three bowlers who took three consecutive wickets in their respective innings, there are few IPL seasons which don’t even have a single hat-trick, and the three hat-tricks in IPL within this short span of time, makes this one, a standout.

This recent match between Rising Pune Supergiant (RPS) and Sunrisers Hyderabad (SRH) has once again proved that this season is all the bowlers glare. The brilliant bowling from its bowlers at Rajiv Gandhi International Cricket Stadium, Hyderabad, helped the RPS team in clinching the match with a much awaited 12 runs margin.

Coming to the details of his yesterday’s best, Unadkat started off his bowling with a dot ball, followed by taking the wicket of Bipul Sharma which was expertly caught by Ben Stokes after Bipul slogged it to square leg. The next ball he got the wicket of Afghan sensation Rashid Khan. And the third one was Bhuvaneshwar Kumar’s wicket.

But, what makes this interesting is the person behind this amazing hat-trick. Completely out of our assumptions, it is the 11-Year-Old Pune kid who gave tips to Unadkat on how to take a hat-trick, the player even shared the video of him with Omkar Pawar, the Pune Kid, in which the kid is seen giving tips to the RPS’ bowler at a meet-and-greet event at Pune.

Watch The Instagram Video posted by Unadkat:

When asked about bowling, Omkar suggested the Pune bowler to grip the ball across the seam “to get a hat-trick”, which eventually Unadkat has done.

Surprisingly, everyone at the event, including Unadkat, Pune skipper Steve Smith and South African batsman Faf du Plessis, laughed out loud and looked amused at Omkar’s confidence, but little is that they have guessed that his words might come true.

Post the match, Unadkat never spoke about the experience he had with Omkar, however, after a while, he posted this video on Instagram thanking the kid, quoted that he didn’t take the kid’s words lightly.
