IND Vs AUS 2nd Test: India Beat Australia By 75 Runs And This Is How Twitter Reacted
Emotions ran high in Bengaluru where India and Australia were tangled in a tense battle to win the second Test of a four-match series. One of the crucial aspects that India got right was getting Steven Smith out early in both the innings.
On Day 4 of the second Test in Bengaluru Australia had to chase 188 runs to take a 2-0 lead in the four-match Test series. The Australians surely had an upper hand in the Test match but India showed admirable character and came up with the goods when it mattered most.
India which desperately needs a win to stay in the series and keep the subsequent two Tests worth their money. R Ashwin’s incredible six-for effort brought India back into the four-match Test series. Hosts beat Australia by 75 runs.
As Ashwin plucked a simple caught and bowled off his fellow spinner Nathan Lyon, the curtains were drawn and India had – out of nowhere – come back to win the match by 75 runs. With pressure on both sides and the importance of this series very well known, things heated up with Steve Smith’s dismissal.
Here is how Twitter reacted to the day’s play:

The bowlers stood up and played their part after the batsmen gave them a decent (but not matchwinning) score to bowl with.

Massive wicket. Interesting that Smith tried to ask dressing room for help with referral. Some might call it cheating #INDvAUS
