Australians were in the driver’s seat with a 155-run lead after bowling India out for 105 and the hosts needed some sort of brilliance on the field to lift their spirits.

With the pitch turning square batting wasn’t easy for Australia in the second innings either as Ravichandran Ashwin took out two early wickets by dismissing David Warner (10) and Shaun Marsh (0). But the Indian team lagged behind today with some poor fielding performances were India found out by dropping at least four catches.

Australia’s scoreboard could have been different if had India managed to take those catches. Steve Smith offered three chances (23, 29, 37) and India grassed all of them with two being regulation ones.

But something happened very unusual in today’s match, where an Indian cricket fan who was frustrated with the Indian-players poor performance made some ridiculous stunt during the match.
