From the past few matches, Mumbai Indians has been going through a kind of resurrection. One can observe a serious changeover in the way they are playing cricket. With the stunning victory they had against KKR, MI concreted their position into the playoffs.

It was youngster Ishan Kishan’s impeccable 62 runs in 21 balls that drew MI’s score beyond 200. Not just that, MI managed to restrict KKR of 102 runs ahead which is an absolutely great margin. Kishan completed his 50 within the first 17 balls, his four back to back sixes relieved MI from the immense pressure of hitting a decent score.

The journey only got tougher for KKR with time. In the second innings, KKR never left any chance of winning the match as they lost both of their openers in the powerplay. Their struggle with the bat continued till the end which resulted in a 102 run loss against the boys of Bollywood.

And now, post the match, when asked about his amazing score, Kishan went making some unbelievable comments. He thanked his skipper for his support. He revealed that before the match Rohit had a conversation with him where he told the young player to go there and back yourself.

He also advised him to play his natural game which has actually helped him a lot today.

May not be Mahendra Singh Dhoni, but Rohit Sharma has been proving his best these days, his way of the game is all enough to see how good captain he can be. Let us wish to see more of Rohit’s captaincy in the future matches.
