[WATCH VIDEO] Jasprit Bumrah Goes For A Direct Hit Leaving MS Dhoni In Splits, See Dhoni’s Priceless Reaction

Indian pacer Jasprit Bumrah has been a sensation for team India. Though he is very young, he takes the whole responsibility and bowls to lead his team win the game. Sometimes, his achievements make us think that he is a veteran of the game. He looks cool and calm and these are the qualities that blend perfectly with his fierce fast bowling.

Dhoni throws the ball to Bumrah

Now, Bumrah has established himself as a very important member of Indian Cricket Team in limited overs cricket, and he has done this in a very short period of time. He once again proved that he is No.1 when it comes to bowling in death overs. It was visible in the final decider match of 3-match ODI series between India and New Zealand.

Virat Kohli, Rohit Sharma’s brilliant hundreds were made to look small by New Zealand batsmen, who put in a classy performance but fell just short of India’s total of 337 runs, thanks to some brilliant death bowling by Jasprit Bumrah and Bhuvneshwar Kumar.

Bumrah goes for direct hit

For the better part of the match, Indian bowlers dished out an ordinary bowling performance but bounced back when it mattered the most – in the final three overs. Required to defend 15 runs in the final over, ‘King of Death’ Bumrah (3/47 in 10 overs) delivered yet again and conceded only eight runs in the 50th over.  More importantly, he bowled an astounding 32 dot balls in his 10-over spell.

But the moment that turned the game on its head was when MS Dhoni and Bumrah combined forces to run-out danger man Tom Latham for 65 off 52 balls. Grandhomme missed the ball as the Kiwi batsmen tried to pick a single and Dhoni sent the ball back immediately to Bumrah and the pacer did the rest at the non-striker’s end.

MS Dhoni reaction to Bumrah's throw

He was very close to the stumps but he still smashed a bullet throw onto the stumps. The way in which he threw the ball made MS Dhoni laugh out loud on the pitch. It was a very enjoyable moment. However, the throw got an epic reaction from Dhoni.
