IPL 2018: KKR recruit former legendary bowler as new bowling coach

IPL team Kolkata Knight Riders had some great deals in the recent IPL auctions bagging some great players. They are trying equally hard to gain the same power in their batting unit and the bowling squads and hence they are hiring legendary players to their team on the coaching side.

Kolkata Knight Riders have recruited the Zimbabwe legendary fast bowler Heath Streak as their new bowling coach for this season of IPL. Streak has a great experience in driving the Zimbabwe cricket team for many years and now, he will play a vital role in strengthening the bowling unit of KKR. He is surely a valuable addition to the team that has got some great intrinsic values.

Heath Streak has provided his services for Gujarat Lions as bowling coach for the last two seasons. It is known that both Gujarat Lions and Rising Pune Supergiants are now replaced by the blazing return of Chennai Super Kings and Rajasthan Royals. Streak is now part of KKR franchise.

Streak is very experienced in cricket coaching. He has more experience as bowling coach for cricket playing nations like Zimbabwe and Bangladesh in the past. He is now the head coach of the Zimbabwean cricket team. He is now looking forward to building a fierce bowling unit. The likes of Mitchell Johnson and Mitchell Starc are part of KKR team will prove a lethal bowling weapon for the team.

Dinesh Karthik is announced as the new captain of Kolkata Knight Riders after Gautam Gambhir left the team and got selected by Delhi Daredevils. Heath Streak will play an integral role when he joins the Knight Riders team for the upcoming richest Cricket league. Robin Uthappa is the vice-captain for KKR. It would be interesting to see how KKR would shape up under the captaincy of Dinesh Karthik.
