Mayanti Langer Slams A Twitter User For Unnecessarily Tagging Her
India’s one of the most popular Sports Journalists Mayanti Langer who now works with Star has always been in the news for various good and bad reasons, mostly her attitude and way of dealing with people and sports. Mayanti on other hand is all known for her charismatic looks and never-withdrawn attitude.
Though she has not been a professional player herself, unlike many guests on her shows, Langer has become the face that viewers expect to see before, during and after the matches, bringing to them all the analysis as she talks to experts.
People many times trolled her on social media websites harshly and disgraced her upon her dressing during the show. The trollers haven’t been kind to them. They use to troll them often about their marriage. Whenever people troll Binny or Mayanti, Mayanti would come up with epic replies and shut the mouths of the trollers.
But Mayanti kept calm and retorted politely. But there is another side of Mayanti who can never beat her in trolling back.
This time, she was involved in a verbal altercation with a Twitter user as he tagged her in an irrelevant post after the Indian team was picked for the ODI series in South Africa. The Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI) announced the 17-man squad for the upcoming six-match ODI series against Proteas in their own den on Saturday.

The selectors opted to go with the wrist-spinners and continued to ignore R Ashwin and Ravindra Jadeja for the umpteenth time this season. The parody account of Mayanti Langer, however, trolled the selection committee in a way by tweeting, “Very Good Selection. Ashwin is useless in Overseas in limited overs cricket. Team India lost champions trophy because of Ashwin. Select one more multi-talented all-rounder like Stuart Binny.”

A Twitter user unnecessarily tagged Mayanti and criticized her for supporting her husband.
@MayantiLanger_B Ohh ur supporting ur husband well done but when compared to yuvi and Raina what is the position of Binny

The comment was clearly to seek the attention of Twitterati and nothing else as Mayanti blasted out on him and requested him not to tag in such irrelevant posts. Mayanti’s reply read, “You do realize that’s not me right? Request you not to tag me. Thanks.”

However, the user realized that he has messed up the things and soon went on to apologize to Mayanti Langer for the mistake.
@MayantiLanger_B pardon me It was my mistake

Mayanti, who seemed to cool down replied saying, “No Problem! Thanks.”
No problem! Thanks.

While every cricketer is talented, it is surely wrong to tag there near and dear ones on social media for their non-performance to seek unnecessary attention.
Stuart Binny who plays for Karnataka in the domestic arena is vying for a place in the national side as Mayanti has been doing her job professionally hosting the pre and post-match shows on Star Sports.
