[WATCH VIDEO] Lightning Quick Dhoni And Ashwin Combine To Send Jason Holder Packing On Wide Ball
Former Indian captain MS Dhoni’s form with the bat might go up and down, but he always proves as a master behind the stumps. In the ongoing ODI series between India and West Indies, MS Dhoni proved yet again in the third ODI at Antigua.
We had seen Dhoni’s slowest stumping ever to dismiss West Indies skipper Jason Holder in Kuldeep Yadav’s bowling. But in the third ODI, the same repeated but the bowler was different.
It is Ravi Ashwin and Dhoni combination that dismissed Jason Holder. Ashwin bowled one down the leg side and Holder got overbalanced while trying to flick. Dhoni collected the ball and whipped off the bails in a flash to send the West Indian captain packing as India reduced the Windies to 87/5 from 19.3 overs.
Must Watch: MS Dhoni Does The Slowest Stumping Ever To Dismiss Jason Holder
It was a wide delivery and Holder had no reason stepping down the track. It looked like a generous donation as Ashwin would perhaps consider this dismissal lucky considering the poor line. It was short and spun down the leg side.

Dhoni also looked like a third commentator throughout the West Indies innings as he kept chirping behind the stumps. Dhoni was seen advising the bowlers what to do and what not to. India`s frontline spinners Kuldeep Yadav and Ravichandran Ashwin swung the match decisively in their team`s favor.
From a promising position of 141 for five in the 33rd over, the Caribbean side crashed to 158 all out within the next five overs. Ravichandran Ashwin becomes the second fastest Indian spinner to take 150 wickets in ODIs. Anil Kumble is the fastest who achieved the feat in 106 ODIs. India goes 2-0 with two more to play.
It is expected to see few new faces from the Indian camp in the 4th ODI, where India will be looking to win the series. While, for the Windies, they will have to go back to the drawing board, reassess and bounce back quickly.
