The most awaited trailer of MS Dhoni’s biopic “M.S.Dhoni – The Untold Story” has finally unveiled and it was simply superb and getting a positive response from all parts of social media. It has really given goose-bumps for each and every viewer. MS Dhoni is a trailblazer in many ways. MS Dhoni has a huge following which we had never seen in Indian sports.

Dhoni has managed to reach top position without backing, despite not belonging or not having any powerful background in cricket. The film portrays Dhoni’s journey from a ticket collector in the Indian Railways to a World-Cup winning captain. Sushant Singh Rajput has imbibed Dhoni’s mannerisms and expressions to the hilt. The film all set to release on September 30.

One of the biggest problems with sports biopics is that people tend to mute down the narrative too much. People see everything black and white, good and evil and tend to whitewash our heroes and their stories.

However, in this movie, particularly at the scene while talking a video call with the selectors where it appears Dhoni is cunning to get rid of three senior players from the team. Dhoni was explaining how three particular players wouldn’t fit in the ODI team.

Although MS Dhoni made clear all the major controversies throughout his career, he had a fair share of detractors who questioned his approach for the players despite bad form. Dhoni handled some of the senior players on his way to shape a young team which eventually helped and achieved him all the major ICC Trophies.

One of the selectors says that Dhoni won’t stop at this and will carry on this in the same vein. For this, Dhoni replies saying “We are all servants and we are all doing national duty”. Though the trailer mentioned any names, cricket lovers and the people who follow cricket knows the names that Dhoni was objecting.
