35-year-old Kimesha Williams, the sister of Kawhi Leonard, a superstar who plays for the Los Angeles Clippers, is accused of killing an 84-year-old woman at a casino in Southern California.

Williams is one of the 2 people that the Riverside County Sheriff’s police officials arrested last month.

It is reported that Williams was involved in the killing of Afaf Anis Assad in Long Beach, California.

Denise Woodard, the aunt of Kimesha Williams, confirmed that the suspect is related to Kawhi Leonard.

Afaf Anis Assad was found unconscious in a bathroom of the Pechanga Resort Casino in Temecula, California in the early hours of August 31, 2019.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s office said, “Assad died from her injuries sustained in the incident.”

It is reported that Assad was pushed, thrown, and punched.

39-year-old Candace Townsel, the other person linked with the killing of Afaf Anis Assad, was also arrested.

The Riverside County Sheriff’s office said Williams and Candace were arrested on suspicion of murder and robbery.

The NBC Los Angeles reported that Kimesha Williams is being held without bail and Townsel is being held in lieu of $1 Million USD.

The No-Bail status of Williams was the result of her being related to Kawhi Leonard, who recently signed a $103 million 3-year contract with the Los Angeles Clippers.

Leonard was with the Toronto Raptors last year, in which he won the NBA Finals and the Finals MVP.

Leonard was a basketball prodigy at the King High-School in riverside.

In 2008, his father was killed by a gunman while he was working at a carwash in Compton.
