Ricky Rubio is headed to the Phoenix Suns, league sources told Shams Charania of the Athletic’s. The Spaniard point-guard agrees to a 3 year $51 million deal with the team.

Free agent Ricky Rubio has agreed three-year, $51 million deal with the Phoenix Suns, league sources tell @TheAthleticNBA @Stadium.

Rubio averaged 12.9 points, 5.7 assists, and 4.1 rebounds per game for the Utah Jazz, he played for the Jazz for two years.

Rubio will be a playmaker for the team and will be playing with Devin Booker and DeAndre Ayton.

Ricky Rubio was drafted in the league in the 2009 NBA Draft by the Minnesota Timberwolves with their 5th Overall Pick, the Spaniard played 6 seasons with the Timberwolves before playing for the Jazz for 2 years, he was part of a trade in 2017.
