On Day-4, Ravindra Jadeja Brings Out The EPIC Sword Celebration On Reaching His Fifty During The Ranchi Test[Watch Video]

Ravindra Jadeja followed his brilliant bowling performance in the first innings with a good outing with the bat, too.

On the Day-4 of the 3rd Test match between India vs Australi, after a brilliant partnership from Pujara and Saha, Jadeja played some attacking shots en route to his quickfire half-century which enabled India to cross the 600 mark and take their lead beyond 150.

His innings of 54 came in 55 deliveries with 5 fours and 2 hits over the fence.

There is something about Ravindra Jadeja when he gets going with the bat in hand. The left-hander may not be the most consistent scorer down the order, but he surely has the capability to chip with the willow when the team needs the most.

As known for his “Warrior Style”, after he made his half-century, the left-hander brought out his trademark ‘sword’ celebration out, twirling his bat vigorously in the direction of the dressing room with a smile on his face.

The 27-year-old was delighted to put India in control and grab a half century which was evident in his post fifty celebration. Jadeja swung his bat like a sword in his ‘trademark style’ as he waved the spectators.

This isn’t the first instance of Jadeja’s sword dance. It gathered plenty of eyeballs when he did the same during his first Test fifty celebrations at Lord’s in 2014.

Team India put themselves in a commanding position at the end of the 4th day of the 3rd Test in Ranchi against Australia and will look to seal the deal on the final day tomorrow.

With the ball in hand, the No.1 Test bowler Jadeja bagged 2 wickets in 3.2 overs which put the Australians on the back foot. First, he breached through David Warner’s defense with an exceptional delivery. The ball pitched on the rough and turned sharply to take the top of off stump.

In the final over of the day, he castled nightwatchman Nathan Lyon with a similar sort of a delivery. The ball pitched on the middle and leg and turned sharply to take the top of off. He ended Day 4 with figures of 2/6 in 3.2 overs.
