Indian off-spinner Ravichandran Ashwin has collected seven wickets as team India thrashed West Indies by 92 runs and an innings. During the first Test, Team India scored 566 with the help of skipper Virat Kohli and Ravichandran Ashwin’s centuries.

However, West Indies managed to score 243 as Indian fast bowlers Mohammad Shami and Umesh Yadav thrashed their batsmen which made them play the follow on.

Even in the second innings, West Indies batsmen became the underdogs against Ravichandran Ashwin’s spin bowling. Ashwin scored a century in the innings and also bowled very well. He played a key role in Team India’s win. Ashwin grabbed 7 wickets in the second innings as the home team collapsed to 231 all out.
