Indian Cricketer Ravichandran Ashwin’s Wife Talked About Their First Night Experience On Twitter, And Everyone Is Loving It

Indian cricketers are subjected to the tough and hectic schedule where the players play the sport almost throughout the year. If given the rest, between the matches, the players love to spend most of the time with their family and friends only if their outside commitments permit.

The cricketers, being humans after all, also feel the blues due to time spent away from home citing national duties. As a matter of fact, it was evident through Indian spinner Ravichandran Ashwin’s latest tweet. Ashwin celebrated his 6th marriage anniversary on November 13.

There are many special occasions in one’s life that he/she loves to celebrate with family, but a Cricketer in that moment plays for the pride of country. Ravichandran Ashwin and his wife Prithi Ashwin are sure a strong and most adorable couple and we came to know about this from their latest tweets.

Taking to social media, the bowling star shared a sweet message for his wife, telling her how the time passed quickly and also thanked her for being there with him through ‘thick and thin’. Ashwin tweet read, “It’s been 6 years since we got married @prithinarayanan and its passed by so quickly, thanks for being there with me through thick and thin.”

In just a few words, Ashwin well managed to convey the message of his heart to his better half. However, what came next is pretty much what we loved about the exchange. Ashwin’s wife Prithi replied with a kickass reaction. Prithi added a touch of humor and wit to the exchange. She asked him if their marriage was strong enough to withstand a “keto” together.

She wrote, “You are welcome Thick and thin we managed. But do you think our marriage is strong enough to go through keto together?  @ashwinravi99.”

For those who are not aware of a keto or ketogenic diet, it is an intensive low carb diet where, due of low food intake, the body produces ketones in the liver to be used as energy.

Soon a fan wished them on their special day. The fan tweeted, “Happy togetherness. Hope your love for her will become stronger and stronger as your hunger for more wickets.”

But Prithi was quick enough to roll her eyes and tell fans that nothing is special for Ashwin than his hunger for wickets.

Recalling their marriage days and her first night experience, Prithi wrote a tweet talking about their marriage day and how people asked Prithi to let Ashwin sleep because he had a match the very next day.

She tweeted, “This day 6 years ago, we were married and off to Kolkatta.I was advised by my kind family to “let him sleep”(as if)because he had a game the next day.But the team had hidden alarms that went off through the night.Thankfully we batted the next day @ashwinravi99 #Iamchamathu.”

That’s not all, she hilariously shared how difficult it was for her to recognize her husband the first time she went to watch his test match on the next day of her marriage.

Even on the couple’s sixth marriage anniversary, the situation was quite similar. The cricketer was in Kolkata again for a Test match between India and Sri Lanka, and Prithi was alone at home.
