India all-rounder Ravindra Jadeja the torch-bearer of Team India in unlimited overs formats is all set on news once again. Jaddu is majorly known for his funny antiques when off the field. He recently expressed his anger over calling him Ajay Jadeja who is a former Indian cricketer.

Jadeja played the recently completed Test series against Sri Lanka and won 1-0. The Indian team also equaled the record of Australia for winning nine consecutive Test series. Sir Jadeja bowled exceedingly well in the series despite the pitches (favoring pacers) being the simulation of the upcoming South Africa tour in January.

Jadeja has been India’s match-winner on several occasions in Test cricket.

Ajay Jadeja was one of the best finishers for team India in his times and has won the matches single-handedly for his country. He was also the best fielder and occasionally used to bowl his medium pace deliveries. Ajay Jadeja last played an international game against Pakistan on June 3, 2000.

Similarly, Ravindra Jadeja is also an all-rounder and has played a crucial role in the team’s victories. It has been more than 17 years since he retired. Well, not for all of us, we guess. Now, the question is what exactly made Sir Jadeja angry.

Ravindra Jadeja bowled exceptionally well in the final day of the third Test against Sri Lanka in Delhi and also scalped three wickets. He also looked threatening all the time on an easygoing track. Later, one of the fans called him Ajay Jadeja on his way back to the home at the airport which made him furious of not recognizing even after playing International cricket for almost 9 years.

Certainly, Jaddu is a known personality and this incident might be an attempt from the random fan to just make a fun of the cricketer which has surely not gone well with him. Jadeja vents out his anger by sharing the issue through his official Twitter account.

He tweeted, “Someone came to me and said ‘well ball Ajay. you bowled brilliantly in the last match’. played 9 years of international cricket for the country and still, ppl don’t remember my name #stupidity #gavaar.”

However, nothing can be said with surety as only the fan would know why exactly Jadeja was referred to the name ‘Ajay’ but for now, our own all-rounder is certainly angry over this.

With nine 5-wicket hauls, Jadeja has picked a total of 165 wickets in Tests, 155 in ODIs and 31 in T20Is. He has also scored 1,176 runs in Test cricket at the average of 29.17, 1,914 runs in ODIs at 31.37 and 116 runs in T20Is in 18 innings.

Moreover, he was the highest wicket-taker in 2013 when India triumphed in ICC Champions Trophy. Though he is finding it tough to make it to the limited overs set up now as his performance dipped and the youngsters stepped up at the same time.
