Chennai Superkings made a comeback with a bang and both the matches played by them were thrilling until the end moment. Their first match against Mumbai Indians was won because of Dwayne Bravo’s spectacular innings. The second match was held at Chennai’s home ground, in Chepauk Stadium in a grandeur style. They were playing against Kolkata Night Riders and the stadium was filled with Chennai Super Kings followers.

The match was exciting and there was a huge score to chase as Andrew Russel played spectacular innings. His 105-metre six broke the hearts of Chennai Super Kings fans and they started questioning the captaincy ability of MS Dhoni. Most of the people thought that Dhoni has lost his charm and is now taking wrong decisions for his team.

The home ground went silent as the chances of winning the game was so less as they have a huge score of 202 to chase. But little did they know Dhoni’s a born leader and changed the game on their side while batting.

Though there was a huge start with Shane Watson hitting some good boundaries, wickets fell one by one and everyone was expecting Dhoni to reveal his wild side but he let the spotlight be on Sam Billings. Sam was titled the man of the match for his spectacular performance and scored 56 out of 23 balls. The youngster was happy with his performance and his new title and he was grateful for the Chennai crowd for showering love on him.

“It means a lot to me, of course to the team, and even more to the fans. We saw their passion, in the practice game we saw 10000 people, Dhoni wasn’t even here, he was in Mumbai for the captain’s meet. That shows how much it means to people in this part of the world,” said Billings.

Talking about MSD he said,

“MS…he just enables people to relax, and be very calm like he is… it is a close-knit group. It has only been two games and practice games, but it is amazing how quickly it has gelled. That is the difference in these close games, team culture is a huge thing.”

Well, whatever people might say or believe, Mahendra Singh Dhoni will always be captain cool. It’s time that Dhoni’s haters shut their mouths after Billings reply on MSD’s abilities.
