Steve Smith Appeared To Call Murali Vijay A ‘F**king Cheat’ [Watch Video]
Cricket between India and Australia is always filled with controversies, fights, and sledging through the game. This has continued even in the Test series in India. As both the teams have won one each and the third match has drawn. The ongoing 4th Test has been a crucial match for both the teams to win the series.
On the day-3, team India was far ahead as Australian players failed to face the Indian bowlers. At almost the end of the day, India is waiting to take the last wicket of Aussies and however, Josh Hazlewood was caught at the gully by Murali Vijay in Ashwin’s bowling. As it seemed the ball touched the ground, the on-field umpires considered it for a referral to the third umpire.
Murali Vijay was sure that he caught the ball perfectly but the third umpire has given it as Not Out. Vijay was in a hurry to go into the dressing room and come back for the second innings. Meanwhile, he was called back as the catch he took was given Not Out. This made Australia Captain Steve Smith angry and he was least pleased with Vijay and appeared to call him a “F**KING CHEAT.”
Smith, looking at the whole scene was visibly displeased with Vijay’s quick run into the pavilion and was caught by television cameras mouthing the words “f**king cheat”. Eventually, the video did not go unnoticed and social media took it was abuzz with Smith’s choice of words.

The fourth Test has been less tense than the other matches in the series thus far especially with India skipper Virat Kohli out of action. However, team India won the match and won the series as well with 2-1 to reclaim the Border-Gavaskar Trophy.
This isn’t the first time in the series that the word ‘cheat’ has been thrown around. During the second Test in Bangalore, Smith was seen attempting to consult his dressing room on whether he should review an LBW decision against him. India captain Virat Kohli, understanding the situation, immediately brought it to the attention of the umpires.
