We all know what all MS Dhoni has done and what all he can do. Dhoni, the unprecedented pioneer of the current generation’s Indian cricket has moreover proved himself by winning every possible trophy in every format. Dhoni never failed to entertain his dear fans on the field and off the field, but these days things are going in a different way.

The visionary hitman Dhoni is a bit off the ring, he is somehow unable to bag enough shots for the Rising Pune Supergiants and the results are bit distasteful. Till now Dhoni has played in five matches and his strike rate is only 87. This is so far. the least possible number Dhoni ever had.

And it is well understood what critics are saying about Dhoni, starting with removing him as RPS’ captain, then biased tweets from the RPS’ owner Harsh Goenka and the shocking comments made by former captain Saurav Ganguly, people didn’t leave a stone unturned in criticizing Dhoni’s performance.

Despite the unexpected comments made by the board critics, the now young players are always seen backing Dhoni for his legendary game plans and the bright history. Be it Rehane, Jadeja, Brett Lee, Smith and now, Suresh Raina, people love Dhoni, they love his style of hitting, his way of handling the team and what not, his sixes. And after a lot of sleep over comments and opinions, the Gujarat Lions’ skipper Raina has opened up calling ‘the removing of Dhoni as captain is unfair’, he further reminded the bashing success they had when they played together in Chennai Super Kings (CSK) for eight IPL seasons.

When asked about the issue, Raina has said:

“I was disappointed. He (Dhoni) has done so well for the country as well as for the IPL teams. He should be respected every time. It’s about not me saying, it’s the world saying.”

“The time I spent with Chennai Super Kings will always remain special. We have won so many trophies, be it IPL or Champions League T20. When I was very young, it gave me a great learning opportunity by being among all the legends” concluded Suresh Raina who was the man-of-the-match in Chennai’s maiden IPL win over Mumbai Indians in 2010.
