Suresh Raina Might Never Step Into Indian Cricket Team Because Of This Recent Tournament
Suresh Raina, once charmed Indian batsman who was well acquainted in terms of support in the National cricket team is now away from the Bleed Blue Squad since a long time. The last match Raina has appeared has taken place during the January of 2015, which altogether makes it 2 years.
Fans throughout the country are quite eager to notice the comeback of the hitman, but, time isn’t going too well with him. Amidst all this, Raina is now playing in the respective Ranji matches, and the left-handed batsman’s poor run of form has continued as he got out for a duck during the ongoing Ranji Trophy match against Karnataka.
As of now, Raina has only managed to score a mere 99 runs in 4 games and another duck has made his chance even worse to make it back to the Indian Team. The left-handed batsman who is always the Captain of the Team decided to promote himself on a good batting wicket after a great opening stand between the openers Umang Sharma and Shivam Chaudhary.
On a simple note, Raina’s wicket was certainly a big blow to the Team who were trying to match Karnatka’s 655 runs in the first innings. This poor run of form will certainly not go down too well with Suresh Raina who as it is failed the Yo-Yo test. The Left-Handed batsman last played a One Day International for India in January 2015 and has been out of favor ever since.
We all know the necessity of the Ranji Trophy which actually is an easy-window into the Indian team, this was the last chance for him to impress the selectors as the Indian Team. His next chance will only come in the upcoming Indian Premier League and we guess his fans will have to be patient till then in order to see more of him.
Well, after all, there is still age and time for Raina and he must revert back into his previous’ form and reflect the ace performance he gave in the crucial International matches just like he was during the good 2010 around time. All we wish is a good comeback from one of the India’s most loved batsman.
