Suresh Raina, once charmed Indian batsman who was well acquainted in terms of support in the National cricket team is now away from the Bleed Blue Squad for a long time. The last match Raina has appeared has taken place during the January of 2015, which altogether makes it 2 years.

Fans throughout the country are quite eager to notice the comeback of the hitman. Raina somehow made it to the T20 Internationals against South Africa and that surely is a good news for his fans. He was quoted saying, “I was hurt on getting dropped even after performing well. But now I have cleared the Yo-Yo test and feeling so strong. During all these months of hard training, the desire to play for India again grew only so much stronger”.

Further, Raina added, “I won’t leave it here. I have to play for India as long as possible. I have to play the 2019 World Cup because I know I have done well in England. There is still a lot left in me and I am extremely confident of doing well in these three games in South Africa”.

Back then, there was an opportunity for Raina to make a comeback into the Indian team, all he has to do was to give his best in the Ranji Trophy in which he miserably failed bagging only 99 runs in four matches. His next chance will only come in the upcoming Indian Premier League and we guess his fans will have to be patient till then in order to see more of him.

The 31-year-old, who has represented India in 223 ODIs and 65 T20Is, says he still feels like a debutant.

Well, after all, there is still age and time for Raina and he must revert back into his previous’ form and reflect the ace performance he gave in the crucial International matches just like he was during the good 2010 around time. All we wish is a good comeback from one of India’s most loved batsman.
