Twitter Reacts As Tymal Mills And Ben Stokes Sold For Whooping Prices In IPL 2017 Auction
Every year, the IPL Auctions spring up a plenty of surprises. There have been countless other occasions where we’ve seen instances where players are bought for whooping prices. 2017 IPL Auction is not an exemption for this.
England’s specialist T20 bowler Tymal Mills who bowled brilliantly in the recently concluded India-England series was picked by the Royal Challengers Bangalore for a whopping amount of Rs. 12 crores. Tymal Mills had set up his base price at 50 lakhs and ended up bagging 24 times the amount. Tymal Mills has proved to be quite efficient at the death and Captain Virat Kohli would surely be pleased to have him in the ranks.
On the other hand, England all-rounder Ben Stokes was the talk of the town and there was an immediate bidding war when his name came up. Mumbai Indians were not willing to let him go they were in and went up to Rs. 14.5 crores.
Here are some of the best reactions after IPL 2017 Auction:

Ben stokes economy rate as bowler in T20Is is 9.03. Hope he doesn’t turn out to be an illusory allrounder for RPS.
