On Wednesday evening, Dhoni shocked the cricketing world by announcing his decision, through the Board of Control for Cricket in India (BCCI), to step down from ODI and T20I leadership. The news of MS Dhoni stepping down from captaincy came as a shock, surprise and moment of pride for millions of fans.
