Virat Kohli’s Witty Reply To Rohit Sharma’s Funny Marriage Wish Is Winning The Hearts

Now it has been a week and all that media is slowly going calm about the marriage of Indian skipper Virat Kohli and Anushka Sharma. The secret wedding of the couple has somehow didn’t last awhile as a secret, shutterbugs and media houses went preaching the details of every bit of the event on the social media platforms.

But coming to the facts, the duo has maintained a secret agenda for the whole plan. Many cricketers were left uninvited and many of Kohli’s friends were not there at the event. However, despite all this, everyone from cricket fraternity and B-town wished the couple a happy married life and good fortune.

As of now, Virat Kohli might be away celebrating his new innings with wife Anushka Sharma, but the stand-in skipper Rohit Sharma, who scored his third ODI double century, had a word of advice for the newly-wed couple.

Rohit-Sharma-Virat Kohli

Rohit, who is captaining Indian team in Kohli’s absence, and himself married for two years now, had offered to share husband handbook with Delhi dasher. Rohit tweeted this: “Congratulations you two! @imVkohli, I’ll share the husband handbook with you. @AnushkaSharma, keep the surname.”

Now, Virat Kohli came up to reply to Rohit with the sense of humor and won the internet. He gave a witty retort to his colleague’s congratulatory wedding message. Thanking Rohit for his congratulatory message, Virat acknowledges Rohit’s tweet and urged him to share a double-hundred handbook as well.

Virat wrote, “Haha thanks, Rohit, and please do share the Double Hundred Handbook as well.”

Rohit and the team have performed brilliantly under his captaincy to win the series. Especially after losing the first match, Rohit led from the front and scored a double-ton in the second match. Rohit is the only batsman to have hit 3 double centuries in ODI cricket, one of the very few records that have eluded the otherwise phenomenal Kohli so far.

So it seemed quite natural for the ever-ambitious Indian captain to seek some tips for scoring double-hundred in shorter formats. Earlier, Anushka too had congratulated Rohit for his ‘splendid knock’ and thanked him for wishes.
