The demonetization initiative by PM Modi has received mixed reactions from the citizens of India. Virat Kohli, the skipper for the Indian Test cricket team shared his experience about demonetization.

Like all the Indian citizens, Virat Kohli too has been affected by Prime Minister Narendra Modi’s demonetisation drive. He lauded the initiative calling it the “greatest move in Indian political history”!

He also shared an incident how he forgot that old notes were no longer in use. “I was actually going to pay my hotel bills in Rajkot and I was taking out the old money and I forgot that it isn’t of any use anymore.”

“For me, it is the greatest move I have seen in the history of Indian politics by far, hands down. I have been so impressed by it, it’s unbelievable what’s happening,” Kohli added.

He then talked about how he is going to use the old notes. ” I could have actually signed on it and given it to people, they are that useless now,” Kohli laughed.
