However, some splendid bowling by Bhuvneshwar Kumar and Mohammed Shami and a fine second-innings hundred skipper Virat Kohli pushed Sri Lanka on the back foot. India fought back valiantly after their collapse on the first day. India fought back valiantly after their collapse on the first day.

At the end, the match ended in a draw as the umpires deemed the light to be poor and the play was stopped. However, one moment grabbed the eyeballs of the crowd in the stadium and the viewers. It was the celebration of the Indian skipper Virat Kohli on his 50th International century. From easy and cautious innings, he made it a dash and completed a stunning hundred.

Kohli got to his 18th Test hundred with a flat and powerful six over extra cover. And he let out a big roar, going down on his knees to celebrate the moment much like former England batsman Kevin Pietersen. He went on to celebrate his century in a modest manner before breaking into a loud scream and punching the air.
