Jayant Yadav is a great addition to the Indian Test team, according to captain Virat Kohli, who went to the extent of comparing the young off-spinner to former England star Graeme Swann who had tasted considerable success in India.

“Jayant knows his game very well. He knows his bowling very well and has a lot of control,” Kohli told reporters on the eve of India’s fifth Test against England here.

“As a captain, I know that as a third bowler, the batsman cannot independently go after him as he can take two-three wickets. He has been a great addition to Team India,” he added.

Recently, a very funny video was uploaded by ScoopWhoop Videos, where Virat Kohli was seen hitting Jayant Yadav at a place no guy likes being hit. Kohli is a very funny character and he is always looking to prank someone or the other.

This happened when Team India led by Virat Kohli were walking back to the pavilion and players in the dressing room were applauding their effort.

Virat Kohli, very subtly, caught Jayant Yadav unaware and gave him a whack. Yadav’s reaction is too funny as he had no idea what happened there. Kohli just kept walking as if nothing happened. Scoopwhoop added a bit of Anushka Sharma twist to the video and made it even more funny.

Yadav has picked up nine wickets in the three matches that he has played, also contributing heavily with the bat scoring 221 runs at an average of 73.66 which also includes a century.
