Well, she is none other than KKR co-owner Juhi Chawla’s daughter Jahnavi Mehta. The 16-year-old girl became the youngest ever to join the IPL auction. Jhanavi played a key role alongside her mother and KKR management during KKR’s bid to rope in key players like Mitchell Starc, Chris Lynn, Robin Uthappa and many others.

Kings XI Punjab co-owner Preity Zinta was keen on taking the best players and was bidding almost every player in the auction. But she was completely surprised seeing Jahnavi who gave Preity Zinta took to Twitter saying, “Forget the madness of the #VivoIPLAuction- it’s awesome to meet the super smart Janvi Mehta who gave me a run for our money”

Jahnavi Mehta completed her 10th standard at the very famous Dhirubhai Ambani School with a CGPA of 10. She was amongst the few students from her batch to have achieved an A1 grade in all the subjects. She is currently studying at London’s Charter House. Juhi seems to a proud mother as she posted a picture of Jhanvi from the auction.

Juhi Chawla kept her daughter away from the spotlight. Mother Juhi remains very protective of her kids and the number of public appearances the teenager makes is very limited. Juhi and husband Jay Mehta are co-owners of Kolkata Knight Riders along with actor Shah Rukh Khan while Preity serves Kings XI Punjab with businessman Ness Wadia.

However, KKR at the auction spent all their money i.e. 80 crores to rope in 19 players. Their strength seems to lie in the pace department, spearheaded by Mitchell Starc, Mitchell Johnson, India’s U-19 stars Shivam Mavi and Kamlesh Nagarkoti and, all-rounder Andre Russell.

Their batting lineup too comprises the likes of Chris Lynn, Uthappa, Dinesh Karthik and pinch-hitter Sunil Narine. Meanwhile, IPL starts on April 4 in Mumbai and will conclude on May 31.
