Yuvraj Singh Takes A Dig At Parthiv Patel Over His Nostalgic Instagram Picture

We had seen the Indian cricketers sharing a great bond among themselves off the field on many occasions. This solidarity is often visible on the social media. The players take the freedom to dig and shower wishes on one another every now and then.

Recently, Yuvraj Singh and Parthiv Patel engaged themselves in a similar exchange of words. This is not the first time wicket keeper batsman Parthiv Patel indulging in a friendly banter with Yuvraj Singh on micro-blogging site Twitter.

Both never hesitate to take a dig on each other. India’s one of the most fun loving cricketers Yuvraj Singh has a good connection with the little man. Yuvraj Singh hardly misses any chance to hilariously troll his Indian teammate Parthiv Patel.

Parthiv Patel shared a couple of old photographs from his Test debut match on Instagram. A rather nostalgic Patel wrote “About 15 years ago. #testdebut” in his post with one photo showing the wicketkeeper walking out with the then skipper Sourav Ganguly.

When the fans were busy wishing the former Indian wicket keeper, an odd comment came and trolled Parthiv. But a certain Yuvraj Singh found it the ideal way to take a dig at his teammate.

He commented on the picture saying Parthiv looks like Dada’s (Sourav Ganguly’s) son. Yuvi certainly saw a lot of humor in the picture and so did his fans.

It is nice to see such healthy change of words between the players on the social media. Patel, 32, made his India debut in a Test match against England at Nottingham in August 2002. While Yuvi took some time before getting into the Test team, Parthiv had his first international experience in the longest format.

Interestingly, Yuvi also made his India debut under Ganguly, in an ODI match against Kenya in October 2000. Patel, regarded as one of the most gifted wicket-keepers, has since played 23 Tests, 38 ODIs and two T20Is scoring 878, 736 and 36 runs respectively.
