According to the company, each of their machines is capable of holding up to 2,000 marijuana products, which includes vape oils, edibles, and buds.
The unique and one of a kind idea came from Matt Frost, the founder, and CEO of Anna.
Anna is designed to take and fill orders for marijuana products. This means that customers can avail of marijuana products without interacting with a person.
Not only that, they do not have to get or wait in line for the purchase that they are about to make.
The unique marijuana selling machines are also going to be deployed in Massachusetts in the near future.
Frost said he came up with the idea after he noticed that some people or customers have to wait for hours in order to get their products. Not only that, he said that the coronavirus pandemic led to a demand for “contactless pickups”.
I see where those ideas are coming from s sir, I see.
According to the website of the company, customers only have to browse their favorite marijuana products, have to add them to their bags, and request a checkout.
Talking about their products, Frost said:
There are experienced cannabis customers who don’t necessarily need that one-on-one interaction with a budtender. They know what they want before they walk in, they’re ready to go in and out. By doing this we’re giving more time back to the people who do need hand holding and want that education from a live person.
But despite the kiosk machine, customers are still required to show identification to the machine before they could make any purchase.
