Police Report: In Ghazipur, Uttar Pradesh, a neighbor raped a schoolgirl and set her on fire. The police said that the girl died from the injuries she attained after she was set on fire.

Arvind Kumar Chaturvedi, the Senior police officials said that the incident happened on Friday night. The reports say that the schoolgirl was sleeping inside their house when the man stepped inside and raped her.

After raping her, he then pours kerosene on her and set her on fire. Senior Police Officer Arvind Kumar said that he left the house after setting her on fire.

The girl was brought to the nearest hospital where she died because of the injuries she attained.

The brother of the schoolgirl registered a complaint in the police station, the police has now assigned a team to find and arrest the accused rapist and murderer.
