28-Year-Old Man Jumps To His Death At Grand Canyon Skywalk Tourist Attraction
A 28-year-old man jumped off to his death from the skywalk tourist attraction at the Grand Canyon.
Rescuers are currently searching for his body.
According to the authorities, the man climbed over a safety barrier at the skywalk on September 28, 2019, and jumped.
The name of the 28-year-old man was not shared with the public.
According to the authorities, the 28-year-old man came to the Skywalk, a popular tourist attraction on the Hualapai reservation outside the Grand Canyon National Park, as a tourist.
The man jumped off the tourist attraction by 4:30 pm.
The spokesperson of the Grand Canyon said authorities started to search for the 28-year-old man’s body on Sunday.
The Skywalk is a famous tourist spot at the Grand Canyon. It opened 12 years ago.
The Skywalk allows visitors to overlook the Colorado River.
A sign is also placed on the skywalk and it warns tourists not to venture too close to the edge of the walk as a vertical drop from the walk is up to 800 feet.
