3-Year-Old Texas Boy Dies After Parents “Accidentally” Left Him Inside Hot Car
A 3-year-old Texas boy passed away on September 21, 2019, after his parents accidentally left him inside a hot car.
3-year-old Liam Ordoñez came back to their home in San Antonia with his parents after attending the ball game of Tee, his 6-year-old brother.
The parents accidentally went inside the house and left the toddler in the car.
When the parents realized they left Liam inside the car, they went outside and saw him unconscious.
During a press release, Lt. Jesse Salame of the San Antonio Police said: “This really was just a case of parents who just got distracted.”
Lt. Salame added, “They discovered him unresponsive in the vehicle, pulled him out and began life-saving measures, but were unsuccessful. This very literally can happen to anybody, and that’s the most tragic thing of it all.”
Lt. Salame continued, “There’s not anyone who has been a parent to a toddler that hasn’t almost made this mistake.”
According to the lieutenant, the entire incident was a “horrific tragedy” as the parents thought the other took the toddler out of the car.
43 children have died in a hot car in 2019 alone.
Every time you leave the car, double-check and make sure you leave no one behind.
