Ajaz Khan To Stay Under Police Custody For 14 Days
Ajaz Khan has been asked to stay under the custody of the police for 14 days, the decision was handed out by a court in Mumbai.
Ajaz Khan was arrested by the Mumbai Police on July 18, 2019, after the actor created and uploaded videos that are promoting “enmity”.
The actor uploaded the videos on his social media pages.
The police said that the videos that were uploaded by Khan were “promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, etc and creating hatred among the public at large.”
During a press release, the police said that they received a complaint against Khan, a former contestant of Bigg Boss, after the videos he uploaded went viral.
Khan is currently facing charges such as promoting enmity between different groups on grounds of religion, race, and more.
The police have launched an investigation for the uploaded the videos.
This is not the first time that Ajaz Khan has been arrested by the Mumbai Police, in late 2018, the actor was arrested by the police for possessing ecstasy tablets.
He was once in the Bigg Boss and has acted in a number of movies such as Singham Returns, Bbuddah Hoga Terra Baap, and Allah Ke Banday.
