Amazing Video Shows California Home-Owner Scaring Burglar Away

A resident of Southern California has impressed a lot of people by coming up with a simple and extremely effective way to deter thieves.

Katie Camarena, a resident of Porterville, shared a video on Facebook with a caption on how she managed to stop a robbery at her home.

We have been having issues with people coming into our neighborhood to try and steal tools out of vehicles (And anything else they can get their hands on) Our flood light didn’t seem to scare them off, so we decided to have a little fun with a motion activated sprinkler that has an impressive amount of pressure 😂💦*Many have asked where it’s from. Just got it on Amazon! Linked below!LINKS TO SPRINKLER: https://amzn.to/2PRcGu3 and https://amzn.to/3ctLDyD

After sharing the video, it went viral right away and it left social media users amused.

In the post that was made by Katie, she mentioned that she and her neighbors had been having issues with people stealing tools out of their vehicles.

The residents of the neighborhood reportedly tried floodlights, but that did not do a lot in scaring off the thieves.

To stop the burglary from happening again, a resident decided to take the matter into her own hands and have some fun with the sprinkler of her garden.

Her idea proved very effective in driving away burglars, especially after the work was caught on cam.

The security camera footage that Katie Camarena shared on social media shows someone with their face covered cycling up her driveway, but as soon as the masked man reaches near her truck, something surprised him.

As the man passed by the truck, he was met with a powerful jet of water from a motion-activated sprinkler that follows him.

This simple trick forced the burglar to turn around.

Katie said she ordered the motion-activated sprinkler from Amazon.
