A widow of ISIS, a terrorist group, helped the Central Intelligence Agency to hunt down Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi, he is an elusive terrorist of the organization.
During an interview with the Guardian, Nisrine Assad Ibrahim, better known as Umm Sayyaf, said that she did not play any willing part during the detention of Kayla Mueller, a US Hostage, at her home.
Nisrine is accused of forcibly keeping Mueller and other detainees at her home.
Kayla Mueller was sexually assaulted by Baghdadi when she was being held as a hostage.
And when Nisrine Assad Ibrahim was detained by the military of the US, she helped the Kurdish intelligence and the CIA.
She reportedly helped them gain an overview of the group’s hideouts and their networks.
3 years ago, in February, 29-year-old Nisrine Assad Ibrahim identified a home in Mosul, a city in Iraq, she claimed that Baghdadi was staying there.
The USA did not call in an air strike at the identified home.
The 29-year-old said, “I told them where the house was.”
She added, “I knew he’d been there because it was one of the houses that were provided for him, and one of the places he liked the most.”
Last month, Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi made his first appearance in the last 5 years, he acknowledged the territorial defeat of the group.
Nisrine Assad Ibrahim was detained In May 2015 from the Al-Omar oil field in Syria.
During the raid, the US Military killed Abu Sayyaf, the husband of Nisrine Assad Ibrahim, who was a top ISIS Official.
Nisrine Assad Ibrahim has been sentenced to death.
Nisrine Assad Ibrahim said that Mueller, a US aid Worker, was brought to her house in Shadadi, a town in eastern Syria, in September 2014.
Ibrahim said Mueller was “was treated differently from the Yazidis.”
She added, “There was a budget for her, pocket money to buy things from the shop.”
Nisrine Assad Ibrahim said that Mueller was a lovely girl and claims that she liked her.
She also said that Mueller was a respectful woman and adds that she respected her.
Nisrine then shares how strong she was, she said, “One thing I would say is she was very good at hiding her sadness and pain.”
Nisrine Assad Ibrahim saw her last time in the last months of 2014, this is the time when Abu Bakr al-Baghdadi arrived back from Iraq.
She said, “He took her with him in a simple car, a Kia. He was driving, and they went to Raqa.”
Three months later, Nisrine Assad Ibrahim heard about the death of Mueller.
Fighters of the terrorist group said that Mueller was kidnapped in Aleppo, a city in Syria, in August 2013.
Mueller was killed in coalition air strike in February 2015, she was only 26-years-old.
