Caught On Camera: Mother Jumps To Save Son From Falling Off A Balcony

Earlier this week, a video went viral that showed a mother jumping to save her son from falling off a fourth-floor balcony.

Thanks to the quick reflexes of the mother, she managed to grab her son’s leg and pull him back to safety.

In the video, you can see the mother and her baby coming out from the elevator and were waiting outside a door at a construction company’s office in Medellin, Columbia.

While the mother was busy on her phone, the toddler went near the stair railings and placed his hands on what he thought is a glass panel.

He fell on his knees and fell off the empty space in the railings.

When the mother saw him falling she took a leap and grabbed him by his leg and pulled him back to safety.

Workers in the video could be seen running towards the woman and helped her pull the toddler back to safety.

The delivery man ran downstairs as he thought that the child fell down from the balcony.

Originally, the video was shared on Reddit.

Here are some comments that the video gathered.

A person said, “It looks like there should have been glass. At first glance the mom would have probably thought glass too…”

A second person said, “Considering that there should be either glass or rails… this is a lawsuit waiting to happen.”

A third person said, “She saved her phone and kid!!! Good job!!”

Another user said, “its normal she didn’t drop the phone her body was so tense, plus a lot of these clinics have locked doors someone from the inside needs to unlock it after ringing the bell. She was a brave mother who saved her child from imminent death if it weren’t for motherly instincts and the need to protect her baby. Even the guy next to her didn’t have time to react he just rushed down stairs rather than help her pull up the child”

This video proves how much a mother loves their children and how fast a mother’s reflexes are.

Cheers to all mums out there!
