Iran has confirmed that they have arrested 17 spies that are working for the CIA (Central Intelligence Agency) of the United States of America.

The government has sentenced some of the spies to death, reports by news agency in Iran confirmed.

The government said that they have busted a CIA Spying group and have arrested 17 suspected spies.

A ministry official from Iran said that a couple of spies have been sentenced to death.

A statement released by the government of Iran says, “The identified spies were employed in sensitive and vital private sector centers in the economic, nuclear, infrastructural, military and cyber areas… where they collected classified information.”

The announcement that was made by the government of Iran comes during the deteriorating relationship between Iran and big named Western Countries such as the United Kingdom and the United States of America.
