Cinderblock, a 25-pound cat from Washington, is winning the hearts of everyone after a video of her adorable workout routine went viral.

A video of Cinderblock went viral on Reddit and Twitter last week, and people have said that this cat is annoyed by her workout routine.

According to a report, Cinderblock’s previous owner brought the 8-year-old cat to the Northshore Veterinary Hospital in Bellingham to get it euthanized.

According to Brita Kiffney, the medical director and a vet at the hospital, the previous owner had health issues and had a hard time caring for her father, who has dementia.

Kiffney said, “I couldn’t do it and asked her to relinquish her to me.”

Kiffney added, “She agreed and was grateful, as she really didn’t want to euthanize Cinder but was overwhelmed with the care of her father. So, she is morbidly obese, due to overfeeding by the father.”

To help Cinderblock lose some weight, Kiffney and the staff at the hospital used an underwater treadmill to help provide physical rehabilitation.

On October 19, 2019, the hospital shared a video of Cinderblock on Facebook.

The video showed the cat meowing and having a hard time in using the treadmill.

The video shared by the Northshore Veterinary Hospital currently has 2.5 million views, 42k likes, 25k comments, and over 70k shares.

Kiffney said they want to increase awareness about the benefits of exercising.

The Northshore Veterinary Hospital wants to increase awareness and inspire people to keep their pets and themselves healthy.

Kiffney explained, “We are hoping to raise awareness of pet obesity, as nearly 60% of pet cats are either overweight or obese.”

Kiffney added, “Many people do not realize their pet is overweight.”
